Dave Perry-Miller & Associates challenged everyone from their five Dallas offices to cycle, in the spirit of giving.
The Second Annual Dave Perry-Miller & Associates Bike-a-Thon, benefiting the Ebby Halliday United Way Campaign was held on Thursday September 13, 2012. Dave Perry-Miller & Associates challenged everyone from their five Dallas offices to cycle around White Rock Lake, in the spirit of giving.
Starting at sunrise at the Corinthian Sailing Club on White Rock Lake, the team from Dave Perry-Miller & Associates set out to ride, raising money for United Way of Metropolitan Dallas which serves all North Texas Counties. Dave Perry-Miller & Associates and all of the Ebby Halliday Companies support United Way’s exceptional work; helping people in the North Texas area take charge of their lives to make futures brighter for themselves, their children and future generations. Last year the Ebby Halliday Companies generously contributed over $112,000 to United Way.
“As always we encourage our associates to engage in our community, which is of great value to our company’s culture,” says Bud Bush, general manager of Dave Perry-Miller & Associates.
Cyclists enjoyed great weather, breakfast with lake views and of course, and the beautiful scenery and properties abundant around the lake. Many of the firm’s associates, friends and staff attended in support of the riders which included: Bud Bush, Ralph Randall, Jonathan Thayer, Kim Gromatzky, Bonnie Pautler, Cindy Bruner, Holly Aldredge, David Chance, Jared Fleischer, Pam Weger, Vint Vincent, Phillip Brown, Ged Dipprey, Robin McBride, Kristin Smith, Sally Nobleman, Christian Johnson, Eric Bennett, Jessica Hill, Steven Beard and Greg Bussey. Bud Bush and Ralph Randall were the top cyclists logging over 65 miles each.
“This year has been remarkable off and on the bike path. We are enjoying unprecedented numbers, sales of over $100,000,000 a month. That breaks down to hundreds of satisfied clients, the most important measure of success, at Dave Perry-Miller & Associates,” says Jonathan Thayer, associate at the Preston Center – Dave Perry-Miller & Associates office. “Being able to give back to our community is the icing on the cake.”
